Yale has guts

Last year, I created a tutorial project for Yale Data Science. Looking at Yale course enrollment data seemed like a fun idea since we could poke into something relevant and get people some exposure to cool stuff like topic modeling. What I ended up finding was a bit surprising. Check out the project page for more!

BagNet is a pun on dragnet

Just to get something up here, I’ll post about a small project I did for a class last semester called Theoretical Challenges in Network Science. We looked at network inference quite a bit, and our project was on one of my favorite algorithms: NetInf. BagNet is an extension of NetInf which uses an ensemble learning scheme. Sound interesting? Head to the BagNet project page.
